Amanda Demme’s creativity has put her on the map.

She’s reigned across several industries as a lead player, creating globally oscillating cultural shifts through fashion, music, photography, art, space and design. Through her ostentatiously vibrant career as a creative director, photographer, record label owner, nightclub owner, music supervisor — one thing has stayed a true through-line — her distinct and unique process of artification. She assigns relevance, influence, pop-culture significance and value to whatever she touches. It’s a kind of magic that can only come with the breadth of bold work, collaboration and orbit she has maintained for over 35 years.

It’s an iconicism and understanding of contemporary youth culture that has shaped what we’ve come to know as part of our everyday zeitgeist — from creative directing Die Antwoord and Donna Karan, campaigns for Aesop or colloborating with Michele Lamy of Rick Owens to creating Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel and starting Immortal Records with the likes of Cypress Hill and House of Pain. But as Amanda says ‘she doesn’t live in the past’ but rather shapes it to inform our present. Amanda loves to collaborate with brands, people, spaces, places and faces as a creative director, photographer, consultant.
